This Privacy Policy explains how Mobilecraft LLC ("Mobilecraft", "we", "us"), a company registered in Wyoming, United States, handles information in connection with the CV Maker mobile application (the "App").
The short version: the App works offline. Everything you put into your CV is stored on your device and is never uploaded to us or to anyone else. We do not create accounts, and we do not collect information that identifies you.
To build a CV you may enter personal details such as your name, email address, phone number, address, work history, education, skills, and a profile photo. All of this information is stored locally on your device only. We have no servers that receive your CV content, and we never see, store, or transmit it. Creating, editing, previewing, and exporting your CV (for example, as a PDF) all happen on your device.
If you choose to add a profile photo, the App accesses only the photo you select, and only to place it in your CV. When you share or export your CV, it goes only to the destination you choose through your device's share options (for example, email, messaging, or Files). We do not receive a copy.
You remain in full control of this data. You can edit or delete your CVs within the App at any time, and deleting the App removes all CV data stored by it from your device. Backups made by your device's operating system (such as iCloud or Google backups) are governed by your own account settings with those providers.
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise location, or advertising identifiers, including any of the details you type into your CV. We do not use cookies or tracking pixels in the App, we do not build user profiles, and we do not sell or share personal information for advertising purposes. The App contains no third-party advertising.
To understand which features are used and to find and fix problems, we use Aptabase, a privacy-focused, open-source analytics tool. We run our own self-hosted instance of Aptabase, so analytics events are sent only to infrastructure operated by Mobilecraft and are not shared with Aptabase or any other analytics company. Aptabase does not use device identifiers, advertising identifiers, or persistent user identifiers, and it does not fingerprint your device. The data collected is anonymous and aggregated, and it cannot be used to identify you or to link sessions back to a specific person or device.

Analytics events never include the content of your CV, your profile photo, file names, or any personal information you enter in the App.
If you buy a subscription or another in-app purchase, the payment is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We never receive or store your payment card details or billing information.
We use Adapty to validate receipts and manage subscription status, so the App knows whether your purchase is active. For this purpose Adapty processes purchase and subscription data (such as transaction identifiers, product purchased, purchase and renewal dates, trial and cancellation status), an anonymous customer identifier generated for the installation, and basic technical information such as app version, platform, OS version, and country. This information is used solely to deliver and restore your purchases, not to identify you or to advertise to you. Adapty acts as our processor and its handling of this data is also governed by its own privacy policy.
If you request a refund for an in-app purchase, we may provide Apple with information about that purchase so it can assess the request. This may include time since installation, total app usage time, an anonymous account identifier, whether the purchase was consumed, whether it included a trial period, and the amounts spent and refunded.
If you contact us for support, we receive whatever you choose to send us, such as your email address and the contents of your message. We use it only to answer you, and we delete support correspondence once it is no longer needed.
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because we do not collect personal information from anyone, we do not knowingly hold any data about children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your CV data is kept on your device until you delete it or remove the App. Anonymous analytics data is retained in aggregated form on our self-hosted analytics instance for as long as it is useful for product decisions. Subscription records are retained for as long as needed to provide your purchase and to meet tax, accounting, and legal obligations. Because analytics data is anonymous, it cannot be traced back to you or deleted on an individual basis.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, to object to processing, to withdraw consent, and to receive a copy of your data. Since your CV lives only on your device, you can access, correct, export, or delete it directly in the App, and we hold nothing that we can link to you. You can still contact us at [email protected] to exercise these rights, and we will respond as required by applicable law. You can also stop all analytics collection at any time by uninstalling the App, and manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Play Store account settings.
Because your CV never leaves your device unless you share it yourself, it is protected by your device's own security, such as your passcode and the operating system's file protections. The limited anonymous data described above is transmitted over encrypted connections.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Please review it periodically. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
